Operation Schedual for 2007

This year I am hopeing to get an advanced schedual completed at the begining of the season so people will know well in advance when each event will be. My hope is to increase attendance by allowing people to take days off from work and such.

To help organize this i direct your attention to the AAS event calendar http://www.atlanticairsoft.ca/calendar.php. All events will be posted on this calendar in the next few weeks with the location where each event will take place. I hope to have a thread link associated with each event no later than 1 month in advance of the event. So all you will have to do is browse the even calendar, click on the date and you will see the following:

Now as far as the events go this summer i was looking into using the following format. We will have one Operation style game a month and one Skirmish game a month. So basically there will be an event once every two weeks and the format will alternate between structured operations and non-structured skirmishes.

also please post up if you have a new field that you would like to be included in the schedual. You must actually have this new area secured for use (you need to have full permission to use it is what I mean, I dont want a maybe field).

I was also hoping to alternate between NB and NS locations so 1 group doesnt always end up having the long drives

yup it will be easier to switch between NB and NS this year, because I have one field we can use and a maybe at the moment.

F3 will try to get some of there field schedules up if we can think of it, theres a team meeting this weekend and this subject will be approached.

cool just let me know if you have a field for sure or not and then we will go from there. With new fields i think its best if we have a skirmish there first so people can get the lay of the land. then I or you can design operations for that field (which ever you prefer).

Anyone taking their first crack at op design should probably bounce there ideas off me. No point in learning lessons I've already learned.

we have a definitive field already, but we will definatley skrim before an op is up.

i have a place down by south shore NS in New Ross aka 15-20mins from Ross Farm , its on a lake and its a mix between clear cut and bush, with trails.

i have the owners FULL premission, all i have to do is call and tell him when.

The Nova Scotia games in may have been scheduled for Brookfield.
