View Full Version : New guy here
Hello there, My names Dan, im 18 years old and i live in a small town called Enfield in Nova Scotia, for those that dont know where that is, its on Grand Lake, which is about 30-45 min drive from halifax. Ive recently been getting involved in airsoft, me and my friends bought some cheap guns from canadian tire and been playin a bit and we like it. But i want to expand on my "backyard" airsoft so ive been looking around your forums to see what your all about and im interested to learn more.
I have a couple questions also
1.Do you know of any store in my area that sells better higher priced guns than Canadian tire?
2.In the skirmishes you have, is it a must to have camo outfits or is it ok to show up in something that just fits the weather?
Thats all i can think of at the moment

I love it when new guys pick on slightly newer new guys with 1 week old knowledge. He was asking where to get airsoft not if he could play with clearsoft.
Anyway, There are 2 retailers in Canada that sell real airsoft. www.007airsoft.com (http://www.007airsoft.com) and http://aasurplus.ca/disclaimer.html. Other than that you can buy used on the classified section of www.airsoftcanada.com (http://www.airsoftcanada.com). Unfortunatly because hunting season is here, our NS field is closed for the season. But if you can make it to a game in Dorchester NB you could get verified and then rent a gun (theres a rentals post in the operations section). Other than that if you are in halifax bean or myself could arrange to meet with you and verify you.

Ok well Welcome to the forums and like Maikukun said most stuff at CT is not even playable with us. So the best way to get a better gun is to come out to a future game of ours and meet a representative that can age verify you. Then once everything goes trough you can check out the forsale section at airsoftcanada.com. Now to answer your questions.
1 There are no stores you can go and just walk in and buy the stuff we use. There are currently two online stores. But both follow the ASC(airsoftcanada) age verifying prosses, The two stores are both located out west. One is 007 airsoft and the other is A&A.
2.Now we have two types of games. Ops and skrims, Now with Ops we have a milsim theme where we have objectives and a overall mission. So I guess you already know what a skrim is, but to answer you question you can come wearing anything you want. But you will find that Gear like camouflage will help.

Damn knight beat me to the point. Also I find it quiet funny how the blind lead the blind.
