View Full Version : How angry would you be?
So here i am thinking to myself. Wow the site is really broken. With all the moving of servers url changes and so on the forums spontaneously combusted and exploded. So i pose this question to you fine folks. How would you feel if i backed up what we have now and erased the whole entire site and started new. This way we can have game calendars a working galley and more. I may be able to port posts and users over but its a big maybe. I would like detailed feedback on what you think about this idea. I figure with all the new interest in the maritimes it would be best ot have a 100% functional site.
Well if you could copy over things like the memberlist and possibly the posts from everyone, I dont think I'd have a problem. It would be nice to have a working site again.
Clean wipe. Everything.
Will give a chance to get rid of old post and members that are not active.
Nice and clean.

NO MY LEET POST COUNT! how will you all know how awesome i am teh server! cause posts mean everything right? no i wouldn't really care but it would be nice if a few things could be saved.

It would be great to have thoes htings working..
and it would be great to have the users ported over, and active threads, non of the old stuff

I have backups of all the posts and such. I just hope the site move goes well. I will post when the downtime will happen. Until then look for updates in the atlantic area of asc.

Im almost 100% sure everything will make it to the new and improved forums. So woot and a freind is going to sit down with me and redo the site. Downtime should be really minimal also.
